TheMOVE

Make therapy playful

TheMOVE turns therapeutic movement into a game, so children complete the training their treatment depends on.

TheMOVE is in development. Sign up and we will let you know when pilots open in your area.

A new frame around movement

TheMOVE creates a whole new frame and experience around therapeutic exercises and the movement of children.

Training becomes an adventure

Balance, strength and coordination live inside a story the child wants to return to.

Mastery instead of resistance

Every session ends in something the child can be proud of, so training time becomes the good part of the day instead of a daily struggle.

Talent in every child

The experience meets the child where they are and grows with them, so movement confidence and motor talent develop together.

Movement is not only something children need to repair. It is something they can grow, enjoy and be proud of.

The experience

  1. 01

    Play with purpose

The story is the exercise. The child plays, and the movement the treatment needs happens inside the play.

  2. 02

    The body leads

The child moves freely and the game follows. No extra equipment is needed.

  3. 03

    It fits the child

The challenge adapts to each child, so everyone plays the same game and everyone can succeed in it.

  4. 04

    Never alone with it

The clinician sets the direction and can adjust along the way, so the child always meets the right level of support.

TheMOVE does not replace the clinician. It extends the clinician's work into the home. The clinician remains the clinical decision maker.

Built for everyone, from day one

Software only. No wearables, no controllers, no additional hardware to buy, so cost and equipment are never a barrier.

Exercises adapt to the individual child, so a child with reduced motor function plays the same game as everyone else rather than a separate, visibly different version.

Talu, the fox character children play as in TheMOVE, standing in a leaf tunic with tall blue tipped ears.

For families and clinicians

Safe, private and made for children

Video of your child stays with you

Video of the child is never uploaded. What is kept is stored securely with a Danish provider.

We keep as little as possible

We keep only what the treatment needs, and parents decide what they say yes to from the start.

Children's data, handled with care

Everything is built around the strict rules that apply to children's health information.

Clinicians decide the content

Exercises are chosen by clinicians, and the game adjusts the challenge inside what the clinician has set.

We follow the rules for health products

We work with specialists on approval so TheMOVE sits clearly inside the rules rather than in a grey zone.

Active time, not passive screen time

Sessions are short, active and physical. The screen invites movement, it is not the activity itself.

Who it is for

Families

Less conflict around home training, and you can see that it is happening.

How access works

Clinicians

Objective movement data between appointments and the ability to adjust the programme remotely.

For clinicians

Hospitals and rehabilitation

Structured follow-up on prescribed training outside the department.

For institutions

Schools and kindergartens

Movement built into the day, on equipment that is already in the room.

For institutions

Supported by

  • Innovationsfonden (Innofounder)
  • NIMBI Danmarks Institut for Spiludvikling
  • Beyond Beta

TheMOVE is supported by Innovationsfonden through the Innofounder programme and by NIMBI, Denmark's institute for game development, and is part of the Beyond Beta accelerator.
